The festival is free to attend. Donations are welcome to support our fundraising.

Bringing your dog?

Dog access is still being checked with the venues. Please check directly with the venue you plan to visit before bringing your dog.

We have marquees and indoor venues, so there are covered spaces to enjoy the music if it rains.

When are the festival and fundraiser happening?

The festival takes place on 10–12 September 2027. The fundraiser dates are still to be confirmed. Use the Schedule page to switch between events. The 2026 festival programme remains available as an archive until the new programme is published.

Where does the festival take place?

The festival brings shanties to venues around Brancaster Staithe and Burnham Deepdale in North Norfolk. Use the interactive map to find the venues, including Deepdale Camping & Rooms Brick Barn.

Can I make my own programme?

Yes. Open the Schedule, choose your event and tap “Save set” on the performances you want to see. “My Schedule” shows your choices, and you can print them. Your choices are saved in that browser on that device.
